By using Strata ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Strata is a personal finance application that helps you track spending, manage budgets, and view your net worth. The app syncs with your bank accounts via SimpleFIN Bridge and stores all data locally on your device.

Subscriptions and Payments

• Strata offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
• The current subscription price can be found on the app's purchase screen. Prices may vary by region.
• A free trial period may be offered. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged.

Your Data

You own your financial data. Strata stores it locally on your device and in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Accuracy of Financial Data

Strata displays financial data as provided by your bank via SimpleFIN. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Always verify important financial information with your bank directly.

Not Financial Advice

Strata is a tool for viewing and organizing your personal finances. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance. Consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Strata only for lawful, personal finance management purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

Limitation of Liability

Strata is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or service interruptions.

Termination

You may stop using Strata at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
